Oct 2014 Meeting

The October meeting was our A.G.M for the 2014/2015 year was held on Thurs. 9th October in the Craobh Eo Centre in Aghamore.

Craobh Eo chairman Martin Wilson chaired the meeting. This was Martin’s last meeting in the chair as he was stepping down after completing his 3 years and was replaced by Sean Foody.

Great credit is due to Martin for the work he has put in during his time at the helm as the Chapter is now on a very firm footing.

Paul Tant came on board as the new assistant chairman.

Competition pieces for the monthly meetings were agreed and prizes for the overall winners in June 2015 will the same as 2014.

The Christmas dinner this year will be held in the McWilliam Park hotel in Claremorris on Saturday the 22nd November. Last year was a great success and all are invited including past members so we look forward to meeting everyone for a great evening. Tickets are €25 each which includes a 4 course meal.

October's Competition

The October competition was an earring stand. This included a secret compartment and would present a challenge to make. Well done to all who submitted their piece.

November’s competition is a U.F.O – 3 Legs.
