Wooden Bicycle 2015

Craobh Eo members built a wooden bicycle for the 2015 I.W.G Chapter Challenge. The design was based on a Raleigh model.

The project ran for the Spring/Summer of 2015 and involved members of the chapter working together to make the individual parts and meeting frequently to ensure that they all fitted together.

The bicycle was entered in the I.W.G Chapter Challenge in September 2015 and came 2nd place overall.

In December the bicycle was handed over to University Hospital Castlebar. An Taoiseach Enda Kenny presided at the handover on the 14th Dec and the bicycle is now on display in the foyer of the hospital.

Congratulations to the team on a wonderful achievement.
