October 2024 Meeting

The October meeting of the 2024/25 CraobhEo woodturning year was held on Thurs October 10th, 2024 in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore.

This was our A.G.M.

CraobhEo Chairman Tom Jordan chaired the meeting and welcomed Imelda Connelly, IWG Chairperson as our guest. He thanked all members who served the chapter in any capacity in the past year.

He also expressed sympathy on behalf of CraobhEo to the family of Seamus Parsons, one of our founding members who passed away during the summer. May he rest in peace.

CraobhEo had a successful 2024 Seminar in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford in Feb 2024 where we welcomed, Pat Horgan (Limerick Chapter) and Graham Griffiths (Shannonside) as our demonstrators. Steve Twydell, Louise Wilde, Colm Brennan (Sligo) and John Flynn (South East) took the competition prizes.
